Today, Rob Oglander lives on the estate with his wife and 2 children. In his other profession as a long haul airline pilot, Rob spends a great deal of time in South Africa and has always dreamt to replicate his love of the Braai culture (BBQ) back on the Isle of Wight.

Nunwell Home Farm

Both from non farming backgrounds, childhood friends Francesca Cooper and Hollie Fallick always had a passion for the land, soil and growing food - so when the opportunity came up to take on a farm, they of course jumped at the chance!

Today they now farm 370 acres of the Nunwell Estate, rearing belted galloway cattle for beef, native breed pigs for pork and hens for eggs. Whilst committing to ecologically minded land use and fighting climate breakdown through land and animal management practices.

Wight Knuckle Brewery

George (dad), Edward and Fergus Bristow (sons) have a drunken idea on Christmas day to set up a brewery in the underutilised outbuildings of George's pub, the Pilot Boat Inn...

The Isle Of Wight, in recent years, has built a famous reputation for all things craft and particularly in the food industry with fantastic products found across the UK in the highest quality retailers. We could not understand how the craft beer revolution had not yet hit the Isle Of Wight with microbreweries of their own and so this was a feat we thought we'd embrace.

At Wight Whisky they're doing things a little differently. Shaped by the knowledge of those that came before them. They're experimental in nature, pushing boundaries and twisting up traditions in the pursuit of perfection. Their modern approach to whisky making ensures each bottle embodies the diverse nature of the island they proudly call home.
